Design and Development Aspects of Klystrons

Abstract

This article reports about the general design and development approach for high power klystrons and some of these devices developed in recent past at the authors institute. General design and development approach followed by cold (without electron beam) and hot (with electron beam) characterization procedures are reported. Briefs about some of the developed prototypes are also presented.
