It is shown analytically that the algorithm of frequency multiplier is numerically stable one if the step of discretization satisfies certain constraints. A sensitivity of output signals of frequency multiplier model to parameters values change by direct evaluations of output signals deviations depending on model parameters variations from desired values is analysed by numerical method. It is obtained that the multipliers should have high precision values of parameters that can be guaranteed by modern hardware, specifically built on logarithmic circuits. A comparison with existing analogs has been made. Abstract
Stability of discrete algorithm of precise frequency multiplier is investigated. It is shown analytically that the algorithm of frequency multiplier is numerically stable one if the step of discretization satisfies certain constraints. A sensitivity of output signals of frequency multiplier model to parameters values change by direct evaluations of output signals deviations depending on model parameters variations from desired values is analysed by numerical method.
