Moreover, transmission capacity can be maximized since larger loading bits will be preferentially selected for the allocation of upstream and downstream transmission. Abstract
An accurate band planning algorithm for adjusting the very-high-bit-rate digital subscriber line (VDSL) upstream and downstream band allocation is presented. This algorithm can precisely control the ratio of upstream and downstream transmission rate with accuracy reaching 1% or better.
