It refers to the emotional desire of an individual that the contact will be a confirmation, appreciation and acceptance of cultural differences. The research was carried out using the method of a diagnostic survey with a questionnaire technique and a research tool in the form of the Intercultural Sensitivity Scale of G. M. Chena and W. J. Starosta. The research covered 154 Poles on labour emigration in the Southwest of England. The research tool was distributed by applying the snowball sampling method, using for this purpose, inter alia, modern means of communication. The analysis of the obtained results showed that the surveyed Poles present a good average level of intercultural sensitivity, in which female respondents, re-spondents from the youngest age group and with the shortest emigration expe-rience have the largest share, obtaining high results in most of the dimensions analysed.
