Abstract

In this paper design and simulation of 4x4 planar rectangular microstrip patch antenna arrays for 5G applications is presented. Array is designed using ADS and realized in FR4 dielectric substrate. The array output is realized for both series and corporate feed with parallel and perpendicular configuration. The gain of these antennas are simulated and found adequate which is about 6–9 dB. Variation in the gain is observed with and without beamformer.
