Revisión sistemática exploratoria: la generación de confianza en mediación [An exploratory systematic review: Trust building in mediation]

Abstract

Recent studies have shown the presence of a relationship between rapport and the success of Mediation. That is, the construction of a relationship of understanding, empathy and trust. Given the scope that empirical research has given to rapport as an element that predicts the success of mediation, the present article has carried out an in-depth analysis of one of the factors that shape rapport: trust building. For this purpose, we have developed an exploratory systematic review. The results of the study identifies attitudes or skills of the mediating person, as well as the tools or techniques that favour trust building. Among them, it is necessary to point out the importance of building trust at the early stages of the mediation process and the use of the Caucus.
