In a combined optimization the minimization of the costs for providing reserve aid for covering transmission losses are presented as well as several parameters of power system operation, which represent the reliability and quality of the system like frequency control, voltage control or transmission capacity. Since the objectives compete, a Pareto-based evolution strategy was selected, in order to solve this multi-criteria optimization problem. Abstract
