Abstract

In this paper the concept of Simultaneous Coded Emission in the context of Coherent ultrasound Plane Wave Compounding (SCE-CPWC) is studied. The constraints under which SCE-CPWC was proven to be effective are released and we show that a good estimation of the insonified medium can be obtained using l1-regularization. Simulation results on medium with sparse and dense distribution of scatterers are presented and discussed.
