Abstract

Objective: Diabetes, a chronic disease with an increasing incidence every year and affecting life negatively, affects both the physical and social life of the individual in many ways such as the systemic diseases it causes, obesity, and sexual life. Diabetes; is examined in 3 classes as Type 1, Type 2 and gestational diabetes. The International Diabetes Federation, in its 2021 diabetes atlas, estimated that 6.7 million of adult deaths aged 20-79 this year were due to diabetes or its complications, excluding the risks of death associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. Early diagnosis and treatment of diabetes in women has crucial importance due to the role of women in society.
