V.I. Vernadsky's input to the museum activities

Abstract

The article acquaints with the distribution of the outstanding scientist Vladimir Vernadsky to the formation and development of the largest Russian academy of sciences natural science museums. The museums of the new type appeared as a result of Vladimir Vernadsky multiyear work. Two closely related directions of activity: the museum itself and scientific research institute are the base of such museums.
