Abstract

Currently, the emergence of nomadic applications has raised intense research interest in providing quality of service (QoS) in mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs). An ad hoc network can be considered as an autonomous distributed system that consists of a set of identical mobile nodes that move independently and freely. Each node uses wireless links to communicate with other nodes that reside within its transmission range.
