Abstract

Facing the requirement of rapidity in traffic engineering inspection, vehicle-mounted marking retroreflective measuring instrument(VMRMI) replaces traditional portable marking retroreflective measuring instrument and has been widely used. VMRMI follows the traditional measurement principle, but the factors that affect measurement accuracy are increasing. In order to effectively improve its measurement accuracy, an analysis of the factors affecting the measurement accuracy has been carried out, and an experimental study on the effect of four factors such as the longitudinal inclination of the vehicle has been conducted.
