Abstract

SG primary side cross inspections (PSCI) are very important in-service inspection items in nuclear island. In most cases for nuclear power station they take the critical paths of the refueling outages. Based on the current implementation strategies of SG PSCI, the potential problems for eddy current inspection on SG tubes, CCTV inspection on SG primary side internal surfacing layer and the transition between the two items are analyzed. Optimization strategies for SG PSCI are proposed, aimed at optimizing the work time and reducing the collective dose, which is in conformity with the principle of Safety First, Quality Foremost.
