Abstract

Scoliosis is a three-dimensional deformity of the spine that occur a deviation from the normal axis. An early detection and treatment are necessary for increasing an efficiency of correction and reducing an effect. There are many primary screening methods such as the body shape measurement. This paper suggests a screening method by using Kinect camera that can collect the point of joints of a human body.
