Abstract

A balanced-to-single-ended power divider with inphase outputs is proposed in this paper. By utilizing two bandpass filters of different orders, phase difference between single-ended output ports could be theoretically zero. Good frequency selectivity is also achieved. Though the bandpass filters are of different orders, their physical lengths are almost identical to facilitate the connection with the following stage, such as an antenna array. A 2.45-GHz design has been theoretically and experimentally validated. To the best of authors' knowledge, this is the first balance-to-single-ended power divider with bandpass response and in-phase outputs.
