Abstract

In this work, a broadband reflectarray antenna using phoenix element is presented. The element achieves a full phase swing of 360° with a linear phase curve in order to eradicate the phase error for bandwidth enhancement. Then, using the proposed unit cells, a 100-element reflectarray antenna is designed and simulated. The results show that the simulated gain at 28 GHz is 19.2 dBi, and −1dB bandwidth is 30.7%.
