Abstract
Issues of social protection are becoming particularly relevant in modern Russian society, which market relations are increasingly leading to a social impasse. There is problem of forming an adequate system of social protection of the population, which in conditions of unstable market regulations is under the regular influence of economic shocks and social risks. This article analyzes the organization of economic activity of social services and measures of social protection of the population taken in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic in 2020–2021.
