Abstract
Model of Photo Voltaic (PV) plus DC-Connected battery system is designed for the maximum energy storage with full utilization of the self consumption without any interruption in supply and restriction over power usage. Different configurations options like AC and DC connected battery system are presently available to achieve maximum consumption of power produced by PV systems with the benefits of reducing the losses. Generally it is desired to store the optimum power generated by the PV Solar Panel without any power loss. Also at peak hours the model is designed for maximum storage without any storage capacity limitation therefore avoiding power clipping, to meet the full requirements at load. In concerns with these constraints this paper aims to achieve the maximum usage of PV panel generated power with goal of achieving the reduction in grid dependency. Efforts are also made to forecast energy prices for optimum charging and discharging of battery in a repetitive global process. A hybrid mode AC and DC connected is proposed here to address the challenges of DC/AC ratio at which the PV self consumption may be maximized.
