The Danish Agendas Project

Abstract

The Danish Policy Agendas Project was initiated in 2002. This chapter presents the dataset included in the Danish Policy Agendas Project. The major time series cover parliamentary activities, party manifestos, radio news, and the council agendas of local governments. All important aspects of the Danish political system are thus covered. The chapter also presents one of the major findings of Danish project, namely the ability of the opposition to influence the party system agenda, here illustrated with reference to the issue of immigration.
