During the internship, a detailed diagnosis of the contents of the inventory sheets of the museum’s instrumental collection was carried out, to contribute to the qualification and promotion of the accessibility of the information available, in public access, through the Matriznet platform, which is presented. Abstract

Evolving from an introductory Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), the Specialization Pilot Course “Digital Skills for Museum Professionals of the 21st Century”, within the scope of the Mu.SA - Museum Sector Alliance Project (2016-2020) integrated a practical component of an internship, or work-based learning. In the case of this contribution, this materialized at the Museu Nacional da Música, in Lisbon, developing competences within the scope of the functional profile of the Digital Collections Curator. During the internship, a detailed diagnosis of the contents of the inventory sheets of the museum’s instrumental collection was carried out, to contribute to the qualification and promotion of the accessibility of the information available, in public access, through the Matriznet platform, which is presented.
