An analytical cross sectional study to determine the prevalence of caries among adolescents of age16-18 years was done in Peshawar. Total sample size was 100 adolescents. Data were collected through a self-administered questionnaire. The results show that poor food education positively correlated to dental caries. It was concluded that food education is lacking in Pakistan and to reduce the number of Dental Caries, the Education Department should include Food Education in the curriculum of high school.
