Abstract
This research introduces a novel hybrid PWM topology for a 7-level asymmetrical inverter (7LAI). The inverter utilizes binary DC sources to produce a 7-level output. The Variable Frequency Pulse Width Modulation (VFPWM) approach are used to trigger the suggested inverter. To prove the viability and effectiveness for various modulation indices, performance parameters are evaluated. MATLAB-SIMUINK is used to do simulations. From the study it is found that VF-PDPWM approach offers reduced THD, the VF-APODPWM method offers lower Distortion Factor (DF), and the VF-COPWM method offers greater fundamental VRMS output voltage and higher Form Factors (FF).
