Abstract
An offset instantaneous digital companding scheme was proposed to reduce peak-to-average-power ratio (PAPR) of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signal. The deliberate constant offsets were added in front of the compressor to reduce the dynamic range of the input signal.
