In this paper, the dependence of antenna characteristics on structure of analytical model was investigated. Therefore the half wavelength dipole antenna and the loop antenna were arranged near a homogeneous model and a layer structural model, and the difference of antenna characteristics by structure of model was investigated. As a result, it was confirmed that the human tissue structure had a significant effect on the antenna characteristics when the distance between the antenna and the phantom is less than 0.1λ. Abstract
This paper presents fundamental investigation of the validity of the homogeneous tissue-equivalent phantom which is simulated human tissue structures simply and is used in general experiment for evaluations of interaction between the human body and the antenna characteristics.
