Abstract
Fractional-N frequency synthesizers can exhibit a phenomenon called wandering spurs which is undesirable in many applications. This paper presents experimental confirmation of the behavior in a fractional-$N$ frequency synthesizer with a MASH 1-1-1-based divider controller.
