Abstract

We observe spin-wave steering along the magnonic bends of different topologies should be addressed. Here we report on the different topologies of curved magnonic waveguides. We use yttrium-iron garnet to fabricate the straight L-shaped bend, 45-degree bend and rounded magnonic bend. We demonstrate the spin-wave transport in the magnonic bend by the means of Brillouin light scattering spectroscopy. We use the micromagnetic simulation to show the spin-wave mode conversion and transmission over curved area. Proposed topologies of curved waveguides can be served as building blocks in planar integrated magnonic circuits in magnonic networks.
