Abstract

ANNOTATION: The snow composition of the region in the Aktash mercury deposit is Ca-Mg-HCO 3 and Ca-Mg-SO 4 HCO 3 type. Total dissolved solids varies from 12.5 to 35.5 mg / L. Snow contains large amount of solid particles (19.2-1031.1 mg / L) that are the main source of snow mineralization. The total content of mercury in snow of the territory strongly depends on the sampling place and varies by 3 orders of magnitude (0.05-16 μg / L). The predominant Hg form in snow is dissolved with colloids fraction.
