Abstract
Photothermomechanical piston motion of hexagonal micromirrors supported by fixed additively manufactured flexures is examined experimentally and by simulation. Results suggest a nonlinear expansion behavior of the polymer flexure structure with incident power and a higher-order low frequency dynamic response with overshoot.
