The design structure of the antenna is discussed. L-shaped slot and four S-PINs are embedded by SOI(Silicon-on-Insulator) semiconductor process and feed by coaxial bottom fed microstrip line. Flip chip packaging technology is used to complete the chip and Pcb substrate interconnection and the DC bias circuit is led out through metal holes. Simulation results show that by changing the state of S-PIN switch, the antenna can switch between horizontal polarization and vertical polarization, and can achieve frequency reconstruction from 7.45GHz to 16.5GHz respectively. The gain of the antenna is low due to the insertion loss of S-PIN.
