Abstract

This paper studies fuzzy unknown input observer design for a class of discrete-time Takagi-Sugeno systems with unmeasurable premise variables. The convergence conditions of this observer design are established using Lyapunov theory and expressed in term of linear matrix inequalities. The final part of the paper presents an application to electric vehicle which exhibit the performance and effectiveness of the proposed fuzzy unknown input observer design.
