Abstract

This paper is set forth to gain a multilevel operation utilizing various Multi-Carrier PWM (MCPWM) techniques proposed to an Open End Winding Induction Motor Drive fed with a Dual Inverter. To trigger the switches in dual inverter, pulses are generated by comparing the multicarrier signals with a sinusoidal signal. Mitigation of common mode voltage (CMV) and the distortion of output voltage due to harmonics proposed dual inverter phase voltage, employing various techniques has been analyzed.
