Abstract

Distributed energy storage can provide auxiliary services such as frequency regulation and demand response. How to effectively use it is one of the key issues in the future development of power system and power market. Firstly, the key platform requirements such as large-scale distributed energy storage application and standardized platform solution, are analyzed, and then the two-level operation platform structure with provincial operation platform and energy storage management platform is proposed; the platform solution is designed considering five aspects including overall, physical, functional, application and technical architecture. This paper describes unified communication technology and data model which support platform operation. Finally, distributed energy storage operation evaluation and decision-making technology are proposed and their effectiveness are verified by case study.
