Abstract

The paper discusses the evolution of complex reuse artefacts. Reuse artefacts do not simply 'emerge', but evolve. We propose a 're-engineering for reuse' (R2) paradigm, and retrospectively describe two separate industrial reuse projects that provide support for this paradigm.
