Obstacles faced in developing professional competence of teachers such as limited IT mastery, limited time, lack of creativity in learning, still lack of references to reading books, minus scientific works made by teachers (3). The purpose of this study is to determine the professional development strategy of teachers in SMK Kesehatan Darussalam, namely: (1). Principal's leadership strategy (2). Obstacles in developing professional competence (3). Model of teacher professional competence development. Methods This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach.
