Abstract

This paper is presenting the narrowband flat fading MIMO system model used in WiFi, WiMAX, HSPA+ and LTE broadband wireless communications systems as well as in digital TV broadcasting. MIMO channel capacity is introduced. Massive MIMO technology is reviewed and discussed in respect with 5G.
