Abstract

Multiple myeloma is a kind of blood cancer caused by the uncontrolled clonal proliferation of malignant plasma cells, which results in decreased hematopoiesis, increased monoclonal protein synthesis, bone tissue destruction, and renal system changes leading to kidney failure. The purpose of this article is to discuss recent Techniques for the Detection of Multiple Myeloma. The many methods of detection as well as the recent developments in technological methods of detection have been reviewed and summarised.
