The course teaching system of combining Basic Knowledge, Optional Modules and Simulation Design was presented. The heuristic and research based teaching mode of adopting Cases, Questions, and Discussions was proposed. Abstract

Oriented to training needs of control engineering postgraduate in the new situation, this paper proposed the curriculum reform and practice methods of linear system theory including the teaching system, teaching mode, practice teaching, and test methods. The course teaching system of combining Basic Knowledge, Optional Modules and Simulation Design was presented.
