Abstract
In this paper, the process for deriving a translation tool in order to convert SABER schematics into MODELICA equivalent representation is discussed. First input domain is analyzed, in order to evidence the key features of the MAST language. Successively, the correspondences with MODELICA output domain are illustrated, considering the different cases of standard library element, subsystems and user-defined components. The performed language translation process is next defined, applying the classical approach composed by scanner, parser and semantic analyzer to the specific case. A final section illustrates the obtained results in the frame of SMART project.
