Based on this context, the opportunity to implement a new methodology arises, with a strong realistic character, to improve the acquisition of knowledge in students and to encourage thinking and the development of basic skills. Abstract

In a context of change in university teaching, andsociety, is essential to approach new methodologies that respond to the real needs for the implementation of the Bologna model. After the first stage, it has been highlighted the weaknesses of a model that does not have enough capacity in staff and equipment, and must be adjusted to the reality of the Spanish universities. Based on this context, the opportunity to implement a new methodology arises, with a strong realistic character, to improve the acquisition of knowledge in students and to encourage thinking and the development of basic skills.
