However, the students and teaching staff can't utilize network education resources effectively, because of the lack of convenient information retrieval tools. The reason is that traditional keyword based search engines just match the keywords mechanically and don't interpret users' intension. The structure of the Cultural Algorithm lends itself well to a data rich, but knowledge poor distributed environment. So, in this paper, we design and implement an application of the Cultural Algorithm based on domain ontology to search for education resources on network intelligently.
