In contrast to existing technologies, the use of a set of software based on a single-chip computer is proposed. The essence of information technology is to stimulate the tissues of the surgical wound with an electrical pulse and further fix the result of stimulation. The result of the stimulation is a sound signal that is processed by a computer. This result then indicates the location of the nerve. Mathematical models of electrophysiological properties of surgical wound tissues were also used for this purpose. The results of electrophysiological experiments in which the efficiency of the proposed technology is confirmed are given. Abstract

Information technology of intraoperative neuromonitoring of laryngeal nerves during thyroid surgery is presented in the article. In contrast to existing technologies, the use of a set of software based on a single-chip computer is proposed. The essence of information technology is to stimulate the tissues of the surgical wound with an electrical pulse and further fix the result of stimulation.
