Abstract
Abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) is a disorder of the aorta that can cause patients died because of bleeding. Bleeding occurs due to rupture of an abdominal aortic wall with aneurysms. clinical treatment to prevent rupture of the aortic wall is done by surgery. This treatment is based on the magnitude of the risk of rupture. One of the parameters used to evaluate the risk of this is the shear wall stress. In this study, the value of the shear wall tension is a result of the MRI image analysis. Wall shear stress calculations based on the model of blood flow velocity profile that is a function of the position of the blood flow velocity near the wall in polar coordinates with the origin is the center of the lumen of the aorta is assumed paraboloid. The position of the wall shear stress and its value can be determined using this approach. Three patients with different diameters are used for the calculation of this stress.
