Abstract

Drone surveillance using high-definition RGB cameras or night vision cameras has been a game changer in the field of Defense surveillance. Yet, several shortcomings are encountered in most of the existing surveillance systems due to natural changes in the ambient light which makes the analysis of digital-color images complicated and inefficient. None of the approaches to allay the said problem (viz. equipping the system with sufficient training datasets to compensate for diminution in the illumination) can ensure the detection of trespasser in dark.
