Abstract

A mobile robot is designed to pick and place the objects through voice commands. This work would be practically useful to wheelchair bound persons. The pick and place robot is designed in a way that it is able to help the user to pick up an item that is placed at two different levels using an extendable arm. The robot would move around to pick up an item and then pass it back to the user or to a desired location as told by the user.
