Abstract

The harvest energy from water distribution networks can be conveniently used for plug-in electric vehicle charging systems thanks to the easy installation, the independence from other renewable sources and the benefits in terms of the peak pressure reduction for the water distribution network itself. In this paper a case of study for a small city (about 4700 users) has been considered in order to demonstrate the hourly power distribution and the daily energy contribution.
