This model has been completed with a graphic interface, through which a whole series of constructive and functional parameters can be modified, such as: the radius of the crank, the length of the connecting rod, the mass of the connecting rod, the mass of the pulley, the transfer ratio between the electric motor and the flywheel, the moment of inertia of the flywheel, the parameters of the electric motor, the moment of friction, the force of friction, the initial force of deformation, the final force of deformation, the crank angle corresponding to the beginning of the plastic deformation operation, the thickness of the semi-finished product, the sampling frequency, etc. Also, the graphic interface allows the simulation of two types of operating regimes (single strokes and repeated strokes) as well as two variants of numerical integration (Simpson and Runge-Kutta).","PeriodicalId":244525,"journal":{"name":"Bulletin of the Polytechnic Institute of Iași. Abstract

Abstract This paper presents a method for optimizing the exploitation of mechanical eccentric presses based on a mathematical model.
