Only variant 3 of the proceeding (soft-tip-applicators, flat profile balloon catheter, Kaltenbach long-wire technique, streptokinase rinsing of instruments, permanent infusion of instruments during the procedure) is an applicable routine method. It has a primary effectiveness of 86%.
