Abstract

The application of mathematical simulation schemes for the analysis of dynamical processes became only possible when using digital computers. With the aim of general simulation languages it is possible to design simulation programs at relatively low costs. The General Purpose Systems Simulator (GPSS) is a particulary easy to handle tool for the analysis and the design of systems with complex tim processes and for stochastical models. Finally, the GPSS is described by usind the queuing problem as an examle.
