Abstract

In this paper, the research on System of Systems (SoS) modeling is carried out based on the Unified Architecture Framework (UAF), to solve the problems of system heterogeneity, information inconsistency, insufficient data sharing, and low operational efficiency in the ‘Belt and Road Initiative’ air transportation environment. Firstly, the comparison between UAF and other architecture frameworks is carried out, verifying the superiority of the former. Then, combing with the classical Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) development procedure, the process of UAF -based Air Transportation Cooperative Information (ATCI) SoS modeling is put forward, and the corresponding minimum UAF grid is cut out. Furthermore, according to the proposed process, multi-view modeling is carried out in the domains of requirements, parameters, strategic, operational, personnel, resources, etc., and different characteristics of the target SoS are shown from multiple perspectives. The research results can effectively facilitate the development of the prototype system, and provide an important means for exploring the new mechanism of ATCI SoS and its optimization and evaluation.
