Abstract

Surface engineering is crucial to enable the functions of materials and device in diverse research fields. Although micro-needles have unique advantages for bio-analytical application, its surface engineering is rarely investigated. Herein, we present several physical/chemical approaches to engineer the surface of micro-needles which may serve as a novel platform for bio-analytical applications.
